Mesmerising Landscapes & Wildlife

Namibia has seen huge growth in international visitors over the last few years and for good reason…
Its wide open wilderness areas, scenic deserts, beautiful lodges and wildlife viewing are world class and attract people from all over the world to come and witness its harsh beauty. Whilst it still retains its remote charm and is by no means overcrowded, the relatively small, owner run lodges are at full capacity most of the year.

2. Unforgettable unique lodges

Do you dream of that perfect view; sleeping under the dark skies whilst watching shooting stars or waking up to the view of a giraffe meandering from an Acacia tree to the waterhole? Namibia is home to some spectacular lodges in wild and remote locations. A defining feature of many of them is how intimate they are, often having only 8 - 12 rooms or safari tents. This exclusive experience means you need to book early in order to avoid disappointment.

3. Travelling in the summer? No problem!

The most popular time of year to visit Namibia is from June to August, which coincides with school holidays in the Northern Hemisphere. If you are travelling with children or are a school teacher then booking early is very important. Most lodges and hotels have very limited family rooms and these are often the first to be booked so to avoid disappointment or high costs then plan ahead and book early.

4. Looking to avoid the summer months? No problem!

If you are not restricted by school holidays then seriously consider the shoulder seasons for better availability, quieter national parks and better airfares. April-May and September-October are excellent times to visit the country and although you should still book early, you will have a better chance of securing your favourite lodges.

5. Bagging the best flight prices...

With the growing popularity of Southern Africa and especially Namibia, flights fill up early. By booking far in advance you can secure the best fares and the best connections. Also keep an eye out for sales with the main carriers; British Airways, Virgin Atlantic and South African Airways.
