Days after stunning in a maximalist look to go shopping in Milan, music’s most fashionable woman took things in the opposite direction, trading ornate finery for the comfort of a Canadian tuxedo.
She updated her Instagram yesterday with a glimpse at her latest outfit: head-to-toe light wash denim with a pared down jacket and figure-hugging jeans. With her hair and makeup understated, she looked low-key and chic, layering on a few gold bracelets and a shiny Rolex for added polish.

The denim jacket and jeanscombination is hardly what you’d call fashion-forward. Then again, Rihanna understands that the right statement accessory can change all of that in one fell swoop. She opted for the new Fenty x Puma’s platform scuba boot, an unconventional take on the tan work boot, to step her ensemble into high gear. With her Spring/Summer range—the final in her collaboration with Puma—currently in stores, the well timed selfie is a reminder to fans that there’s still time to add a little bad gal to their wardrobes.
