Adekunle Gold has clarified the reason behind his decision of Seyi Shay for the part of Delilah in his most recent music video. In the video for the melody, 'Damn Delilah,' one of the tracks on Gold's About 30 collection and which portrays the circumstance of a deceiving mate, Shay is included as the affection enthusiasm of Gold. 

In a message to fans, Gold said the decision of Seyi Shay was attached to her stature as a "solid, excellent, autonomous lady." According to him, "since I cherish solid, delightful free ladies, there was nobody else superior to anything Seyi Shay to approach to make this for you. "I am so thankful to her.


She is unquestionably the most responsive, rational and energizing individuals to work with. "Delilah was intended to enable men (everybody truly) to talk about their shock, something that forbidden with us. "I trust this treat motivates ladies (everybody as well) to end the pursuit rapidly on the off chance that they aren't into each other."

Following the arrival of the video, Shay has put out a reaction tune titled 'Delilah's Tale' which has verses like: "I never said I was searching for affection, in your mind we were a thing yet it was just a throw." According to her, 'Delilah's Tale' is a chance to recount a similar story from a second point of view.
