Chelsea defender, Gary Cahill is ready to leave Chelsea in the January transfer window, according to The Sun.
The 32-year-old is yet to feature under new manager, Maurizio Sarri this season.
The Italian has switched formations and now plays with only two central defenders.
David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger have taken the two central defensive positions as Sarri’s preferred pairing.
Cahill and Andreas Christensen both considered back-up options.
Cahill has not been named in a matchday squad this term and according to the newspaper, the defender is willing to leave Stamford Bridge midway through the campaign.
The report also claimed that Cahill was open to joining a Premier League rival and is hopeful that Chelsea would not stand in the way of his move.
Cahill has spent over six years at Chelsea and has helped the club win two Premier League titles, the Champions League and the Europa League.
