Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State says for the All Progressives Congress (APC) to even contemplate presenting a governorship candidate for the 2019 election in the state shows that something is fundamentally wrong with the party.

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State says for the All Progressives Congress (APC) to try and ponder displaying a governorship possibility for the 2019 race in the state demonstrates that something is on a very basic level amiss with the gathering.

Wike talked in a meeting at the Government House, Port Harcourt, focusing on that beside the plot to fix, the APC has no stage to crusade upon in the State.

"For the APC to consider acquiring someone this state to move me, demonstrates that something is on a very basic level amiss with the gathering.

"What has the Federal Government improved the situation the APC in Rivers State? What has Rivers APC accomplished? Say a certain something. Is it regarding the streets, the air terminal or seaports?" he questioned. He lamented that the APC did not put stock in solid surveys, taking note of that gear and misrepresentation were in the DNA of the gathering.

"Every one of their gatherings, every one of their social affairs at the government level, regardless of whether by snare or hoodlum, they should have Rivers State. They need to utilize officers, SARs, DSS. All cries by the universal network don't make a difference. Simply take Rivers State first," he said.

Representative Wike said as a Minister of State for Education, his commitments to the advancement of Rivers State were scattered over the state.

He asked why the ebb and flow Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi, has fizzled the general population of Rivers by declining to draw in a solitary undertaking to the state.

Representative Wike stated: "When I was a priest and he was in APC, I conveyed advancement to the state. For instance, I conveyed the Faculty of Law to the University of Port Harcourt. I conveyed allow of N500 million to Ken Saro Wiwa Polytechnic and the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education.

"I'm from Rivers State and should add to the improvement to the state. As at the time I was in the Federal Government, he was the senator under APC and there was no improvement in the state. I brought the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) mediation to Rivers State. This is my State."

Wike stated, as legislative head of the State, he has changed Rivers, refering to key ventures over the state. He said his third-year commemoration festivity underscored the essentials of good administration with pioneers crosswise over political, customary and social partitions dispatching key activities.

The representative said in October, his organization would begin another leg of venture dispatching. He noticed that President Muhammadu Buhari would be welcome to commission ventures, despite the fact that he is probably not going to respect the welcome for political reasons.

Representative Wike said in opposition to the publicity of the APC, he isn't against the central government, including that he is just dedicated to the battle against foul play.

"That is the confusion; I don't confront the national government. I face foul play and underestimation. It has nothing to do with the central government. In the event that this administration isn't set up tomorrow, and another administration comes and executes unfairness, I will confront them. It has nothing to do with government," Wike said.

On the affirmed media purposeful publicity by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), on the administration of Rivers State funds under his authority, Governor Wike kept up that the law had proclaimed that the EFCC has no capacity to research the state government.

He stated: "I'm not intrigued whether EFCC backs off or not, being a body that does not regard the control of law. That is the thing that the national government is about, exemption. You heard the president say national intrigue supersedes the control of law. I'm not against the EFCC battling defilement if at all they are battling debasement.

"My worry is for us to get things done as per law. The law says we have a league including the government, the states, and the nearby government regions. We go to the month to month government allotment when cash goes to the league and all levels take their offer. The government is currently saying the cash that comes to states will be checked."

He noticed that the EFCC must be considered important, on the off chance that it works inside the run of law, by effectively engaging the 2007 judgment between the commission and the state government.

"I was not here in 2007 when the Rivers State government went to court against the EFCC; to state the commission has no protected capacity to grill the accounts of the State government. What's more, the issue was enough tended to and judgment was given against EFCC. Since 2007; EFCC has been attempting to request the judgment. EFCC has not prevailing up till now. What they are doing now is the point at which they feel a legislature isn't professional Buhari, we should do this.
